SASKATOON NEGOTIATIONS

New Contract Ratified. At a January vote Saskatoon Dynamex drivers voted to accept the tentative agreement negotiated in the fall. Included in the new contract are an increase to the minimum commission rate and access for drivers to a benefit package.

Decertification Attempt

Fails in Red Deer

A decertification attempt at Dynamex Red Deer was turned down unanimously by the CIRB. Workers in Red Deer have been trying to negotiate their first collective agreement since the beginning of the year. Several workers are now applying for back vacation pay through the HRDC.
